G-EAZY’S ALBUM THESE THINGS HAPPEN SURPASSES
100,000 ALBUMS SOLD; 35 MILLION SPOTIFY STREAMS

G-Eazy put himself in position to compete with rap’s biggest names” Pigeons & Planes
(New York, NY – September 17, 2014) Today, Bay Area rapper G-Eazy announced his highly anticipated return to the road with the “From The Bay To The Universe Tour.” The Oakland emcee, who was recently named one of USA Today’s hottest college acts, will be stopping in 31 cities along with Bay Area luminary E-40 as well as IAMSU! and Jay Ant.

Fittingly, the tour will start and end in California, making stops in major metropolitan markets such as Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Las Vegas. G-Eazy is set to perform hits off his lauded album These Things Happen such as “I Mean It,” “Lost,” “Tumblr Girls” as well as “Far Alone” featuring E-40 and Jay Ant. Bay Area legend E-40 will surely bring out his hyphy classics such as “Tell Me When To Go” and “Rapper’s Ball,” while IAMSU! is likely to perform his verses from radio hits “Function,” “Gas Pedal” and “Only That Real.” Tickets for “The Bay To The Universe Tour” go on sale September 19 at 10:00 a.m. local time, with members of G-Eazy’s fan club and those wishing to purchase VIP tickets having presale access today at noon local time, and can be purchased here: www.g-eazy.com

The “From the Bay to the Universe Tour” comes off a stellar summer for G-Eazy, from the release of These Things Happen, his first European tour, dates on the “Drake vs.Wayne Tour” and his late night TV debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers. After MTV dubbed “Far Alone” their 2014 “summer jam” and G-Eazy as their “Artist to Watch”, the Oakland Tribune’s declaration that G-Eazy’s buzz is “deafening” has become an understatement. G-Eazy’s album These Things Happen has surpassed 100,000 copies sold and 35 million Spotify streams after debuting on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop and Top Rap Albums Charts at #1, while garnering the #3 position on both the Billboard 200 and Top Digital Albums Chart. G-Eazy’s accomplishments have not gone unnoticed, earning praise from The New York Times, Pitchfork and VIBE, who noted G-Eazy’s method for success in their review of These Things Happen, stating: “Sans radio single, sans famous rapper cosign, sans beats from super producers, the Bay Area-native has leveraged blog exposure, social media reach and a relentless touring schedule into a sizeable fan base.”

Jo Dee Messina at The RITZ Ybor 12/10/2014

THE RITZ YBOR PRESENTS JO DEE MESSINA AT THE RITZ YBOR ON WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2014

  • Venue Pre-Sale:  Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 10am to 10pm
  • General Public On Sale:  Friday, August 29, 2014 at 10am
  • Ticket Link:  CLICK HERE
Jo Dee Messina fans will soon get what they've been clamoring for as the multiplatinum, award-winning country singer/songwriter released her new full-length album. With its title ME chosen by fans, the album marks Jo Dee's most personal album to date as she wrote or co-wrote many of the songs and will release it on her own newly established label, Dreambound Records. For the first time in her career, Jo Dee is able to boldly do things her own way and pave her own path to success.

Spring 2013 found the fiercely independent, outspoken, and driven artist free from a long-term record deal. Jo Dee became free to make the album she wanted, so the forward-thinking country star took to the crowd-funding website Kickstarter.com to create a new full-length album for her fans, with her fans. "My time. Our Music." campaign allowed her backers to be involved with every step that goes into creating and recording the album, and opportunities to be rewarded with exclusive content and one-of-a-kind opportunities.

Throughout the process, her fans helped Jo Dee surpass her $100,000 goal, making her Kickstarter.com campaign the most successful one to come out of Nashville and at the time of completion, the 15th largest funded music campaign in Kickstarter.com history. The fans were given a voice. Via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Stage-It, her fans selected which songs would be included on the album, submitted artwork for her label logo, selected the album title ME and chose the album's first single "Peace Sign."

"This album is truly for you, the people who appreciate the creative process, as well as my amazing fans," exclaims Jo Dee. "There's no question, I wouldn't be where I am today without your love and support. You've been with me since the beginning. This album is a fresh start for me, and I want us to go on this exciting journey together."

Although this album is a fresh start for Jo Dee, she is no stranger to the entertainment world. Debuting in 1996 with the hit single "Heads Carolina, Tales California," she has charted 9 number one singles, 16 Top 40 singles, and sold more than 5 million records worldwide.

Overall, ME is a journey. It's honest. It's funny. It's sad. It's life. At this point in her life, Jo Dee isn't afraid. She's a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend and an incredibly gifted vocalist and all that awaits her.

Capital Cities @ The RITZ Ybor 10/23/2014

CAPITAL CITIES @ THE RITZ YBOR ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2014

Los Angeles duo of composers Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian initially met on Craigslist in 2008 and worked as jingle writers until they formed the indie electro band Capital Cities in 2010. They released an EP independently in 2011 that included the song “Safe and Sound,” an upbeat mesh of synths and melody that spread like wildfire across the Internet.

When they discovered through social media that an alternative radio station in Peru began to play the song, they connected with fans from Lima and organized tours in South America.

Encouraged by the experience, the band self-funded a promotional campaign and got on the radio in the states. Soon after, the music industry and the rest of the world took notice. Capitol Records signed the band’s indie label Lazy Hooks and released Capital Cities’ debut album In A Tidal Wave of Mystery in June, 2013.

“Safe and Sound” went multi-Platinum in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Mexico, and others, and shot to the top of numerous international charts, including number one on alternative radio in the U.S. and number eight on the Billboard Hot 100.

The music video, a celebratory mash-up of dancing from various eras and cultures, received a VMA and a Grammy nomination.

The band has toured four continents and played in front of tens of thousands fans at festivals in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Poland, Japan and Korea. Their list of 2014 performances include playing Coachella, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Hangout Fest and all three South American Lollapalooza dates and Katy Perry on the first leg of her Prismatic World Tour.

Merchant and Simonian are joined by bassist Manny Quintero, trumpeter Spencer Ludwig, guitarist Nick Merwin, and drummer Channing Holmes.

Capital Cities will perform at The RITZ Ybor on Thursday, October 23, 2014 with Special Guests.  Pre-Party doors will open at 6pm, with main doors opening at 6:30pm.  Tickets are $25.00 (advance), and $27.00 (DOS).  Tickets will be available for purchase online HERE starting at 10am this Friday, July 25, 2014.

MGK - Machine Gun Kelly @ The RITZ Ybor 7/19/2014

MGK - MACHINE GUN KELLY @ THE RITZ YBOR ON JULY 19, 2014

THIS SHOW HAS CHANGED VENUES. ORIGINAL TICKETS WILL BE HONORED AT THE DOOR.

Despite a year where new youngsters took over, there was only one who could be named MTV's "Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2011." That emcee is ... Bad Boy signee, Machine Gun Kelly.

Since dropping his 2010 mixtape Lace Up, the Cleveland-bred rapper has built a cult-following that eventually helped him attract all the major labels, all of which were courting MGK. In the end, it was Diddy and Bad Boy that landed the buzzing young artist.

MGK beat out the likes of Lil Twist and Mac Miller, as well as A$AP Rocky, Future, French Montana, Freddie Gibbs, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill and Roscoe Dash.

"He has just such a movement, just hundreds and thousands of loyal fans that came from the place he came from, in different parts of the country," Diddy gushed during a "RapFix Live" appearance. "He wasn't always the coolest kid in school, and just the process of growing up and the problems that they all encounter, they relate to him in such a way."

MTV said that Lil Twist, who finished in the #2 spot with 39 percent of the vote, was MGK's most formidable competition, thanks to his die-hard fans, Young Money team and best friend Justin Bieber, who all tweeted in support.

After earning the honor, MGK Skyped with MTV, graciously accepting the title.

"I can't explain how grateful I am for all those kids who sat there and got in voting circles and sat there for hours and hours and did votes upon votes," MGK said of his fans, who voted for him in the week-long poll. "I know that we have probably the least amount of fans, but like I told my fans: Heart is always gonna prevail over connections and who these people know and who tweets what."

Next thing on MGK's list is his upcoming Lace Up album, which has yet to receive a release date. For more info, keep it locked to www.machinegunkelly.com.

Doors open at 6pm.  Original tickets honored at the door.  Tickets still available for purchase online CLICK HERE

CHVRCHES @ The RITZ Ybor 10/6/2014

CHVRCHES @ THE RITZ YBOR ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2014

In little more than twelve months CHVRCHES have come out of nowhere to be everywhere. There’s a lot to catch up on since they posted their first song, Lies, online last May – a place in the top five of the BBC Sound of 2013, sell out headline tours in the UK and US (the most recent US tour playing to almost 20,000 people over 18 shows), a triumphant, award-winning appearance at SXSW and a string of stadium dates with Depeche Mode, to name but a few.

The excitement around that debut track was enhanced by the fact that there wasn’t so much as a photo of the band online. Who was that facelessly contorting the legacy of electronic music into surprisingly palatable new shapes? Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty weren’t being deliberately coy – they were just hard at work capturing a sound that, in the tradition of all great musical alchemies, even surprised the band that made it.

Lies was followed in the summer by The Mother We Share – a euphoric, expertly-crafted piece of synthpop with a warm emotional centre that captured the imagination of a million listeners and saw the band step out from the shadows to put faces to the names. Both tracks, alongside bona fide singles Recover and Gun, feature on CHVRCHES’ longed-for debut album, The Bones of What You Believe, out now.

Live Nation & No Clubs presents CHVRCHES at The RITZ Ybor on Monday, October 6, 2014.  Tickets are $23.50 (advance) and $25.00 (DOS), and will be available for purchase online HERE starting this Friday at 10am.

Today Feed Me, Jon Gooch’s insidious alter ego, announces the unveiling of his amplified Teeth show with his upcoming North America bus tour, Feed Me’s Psychedelic Journey, and plans to release a new 4 track EP on his label, Sotto Voce. The tour will travel across the country, from July to September, making stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and many more. This marks Feed Me’s first proper tour since his 17-date sold out “Teeth Tour” at the beginning of 2013.

All fans that buy tickets through the exclusive presale link will receive a “Time For Myself,” a track from Feed Me’s forthcoming EP before anyone else.  Sign up to Pre sale here.

Entirely designed by Jon Gooch, Feed Me’s Psychedelic Journey returns with a magnified teeth installation and live show with ever expanding light show that will be the centerpiece of the tour. Harnessing the power of silhouette and theatre ahead of instant gratification LEDs and screens.

The Psychedelic Journey is not only a visually driven concept, but an out of this world auditory experience. After taking time away from the road to focus on his music, Feed Me will be fresher than ever. The tour will feature 100% original material, including his iTunes chart topping album Calamari Tuesday, his up and coming EPs and maybe even previews from his next album.

Exclusive pre sales starts Thursday, May 29 at 1pm.  General public tickets go on sale Friday, May 30 at 12pm local time.
